The Wichita City Council faces big budget challenges, thanks to the pandemic ... which has put a big dent in local tax revenue. Mayor Brandon Whipple tells KNSS News budget cuts will be noticable ... with a revenue shortfall of 5 to 11 million dollars this year, and 15 to 16 million next year. Whipple says the city council will look at measures such as keeping the swimming pools closed and changing the schedule for mowing grass to save money.

Whipple commented during Mondays with the Mayor ... on the Steve and Ted in the Morning Show on KNSS.
