Two shootings occuring at the same time early Saturday morning took the life of two Wichita men.

The man was identified as as 29 year-old Micheal Maxwell.

At about the same time, police were called to a shooting at an apartment in the 800 block of West 26th. Lt. Ojile says when officers arrived they found a 23 year-old man who was dead from a gunshot wound. He was identified as Patrick Ball-Morse.

Investigators learned that the man and his 25 year-old girlfriend were moving items from an apartment when the womans 34 year-old brother started an argument with her. Morse apparently tried to interfere and was shot.
