Two women dead after crash in Cowley County

Two people are dead after a head-on crash in Cowley County. It happened around 7:15 a.m. Wednesday on US Highway 160 near 141st Rd just east of Winfield.
According to the Cowley County Sheriff's Office a westbound pickup crossed the center line and struck an eastbound pickup.
The driver of the eastbound vehicle 64-year-old Geraldine Patrick of Shell Knob, Mo., was transported to Wesley Medical Center where she later died. Her passenger, 58-year-old Patricia Blake of Dallas, Ga, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the westbound pickup was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
