4th U.S. District congressman Ron Estes is encouraged by House speaker Nancy Pelosi's statement that the
U-S-M-C-A trade agreement could become a reality.

Estes told KNSS news the USMCA deal was brought up over a year ago, but has been placed on the back burner because of the impeachment activities in Washington. Even so, he says there is enough good in the program to garner support from both sides of the aisle.

He says loopholes in NAFTA did not benefit North America. The new program will create jobs and trade for the U.S., Mexico, and Canada.

He hopes lawmakers will get back to work on this soon because it is so good for so many.
