Wasburn University approves a concealed-carry policy

TOPEKA, Kan. (KNSS) —The board of regents at Washburn University have approved a campus concealed-carry policy. 

The board unanimously approved the gun policy without discussion on Thursday. 

The policy requires all campus housing residents to safely secure and conceal
handguns from sight on themselves, in their dorm or in the trunk of their car. 

The policy will go into effect on July First.
