GARDEN CITY, Kan (KNSS) - The Kansas Highway Patrol closed Highway 50 west of Anderson Road in Finney County after two trucks collided there Tuesday afternoon. One truck was carrying sulfuric acid.

A valve broke on the truck in the accident. The acid had to be secured before the truck was moved in order to prevent a spill. It took several hours to secure the truck.

A crew from Wichita provided assistance. The Highway Patrol reports that no one was seriously injured in the collision.
