At Tuesday's Wichita City Council meeting, the group approved a patio space use agreement at Naftzger Park.

765 square feet of outdoor dining space will be leased to the new businesses on the east side of the park. Planters would delineate the special dining areas, which will be available for public use when the restaurants are closed.

This will not be the only seating areas, as moveable tables and chairs, swivel chairs and picnic tables will be located throughout the park.

The agreement is for 3 years, and the $2,000 fee will be used for maintenance of the park.
