It happened on December 19 in a parking lot of an apartment complex in the 7900 block of east Lincoln at around 9:00 p.m.

A teenage girl was sitting in her car waiting for a friend. "And when the friend got to the vehicle, it was surrounded by the three suspects, who started making threats and demands," said Officer Kevin Wheeler.

One of the suspects was armed with a handgun.  The girl’s cell phones and an undetermined amount of cash was taken in the robbery.  There were no injuries.
