Wichita and Sedgwick County Crime Stoppers are asking for the public’s help in solving an armed robbery.

It happened around 8:45 p.m. on December 31, at The Mi Mexico Lindo Market in the 2600 block of north Arkansas.

Two men entered the business, one was armed with a shotgun, and demanded money from the registers.  "One suspect took money from the registers, while the armed suspect stood by the front door as a guard," said Police Officer Kevin Wheeler.

The pair then left the business.  "As they ran away the armed suspect fired the shot gun inside the store," Wheeler added.  There were no injuries.

The suspects left in a white, 2000 model four-door sedan, possibly a Chevy Cobalt.
