Wichita and Sedgwick County Crime Stoppers are asking for the public's help in solving a recent robbery at an area drug store.

It happened around 8:20 p.m. on Tuesday September 24, at the Walgreen's store in the 1600 block of south Webb Rd.

Police Officer Kevin Wheeler says the cashier reported a woman who entered the store asked to buy cigarettes.  When he ask for identification, the woman left the store and returned with her purse.

"She attempted to grab a carton of cigarettes from him," Wheeler said.  There was a brief struggle.  "The suspect then reached into her purse, and made a threat to the cashier indicating that she had a gun," Wheeler added.

The woman left the store with the cigarettes and got into a gray four-door sedan that was in the parking lot.
