Wichita Crime Stoppers asks for help solving a drug store robbery

Wichita and Sedgwick County Crime Stoppers are asking for the public's help in solving a recent robbery at an area drug store.
It happened around 8:20 p.m. on Tuesday September 24, at the Walgreen's store in the 1600 block of south Webb Rd.
Police Officer Kevin Wheeler says the cashier reported a woman who entered the store asked to buy cigarettes. When he ask for identification, the woman left the store and returned with her purse.
"She attempted to grab a carton of cigarettes from him," Wheeler said. There was a brief struggle. "The suspect then reached into her purse, and made a threat to the cashier indicating that she had a gun," Wheeler added.
The woman left the store with the cigarettes and got into a gray four-door sedan that was in the parking lot.

The suspect is described as a black woman in her mid-20's, approximately 5'4" and 120 lbs., with black hair. She was wearing a black shirt, white pants and glasses.
