Wichita Man Dies, Shot During Neighborhood Dispute

WICHITA, Kan. (KNSS) - A 50-year-old man died early Monday morning, eight days after he was shot in the torso in the southwest part of Wichita.

The man was shot during a dispute between neighbors west of Harry & Seneca on Sunday night, May 14, in the 1600 block of S. Fern.

After that shooting, a 31-year-old man was arrested.

That suspect will now face a murder charge, as well as charges of aggravated battery, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm by a felon. This is Wichita's 15th homicide case of the year.
