Wichita Police ask for public's help in burglary case

Wichita Police are asking for your help in solving a burglary case from August.

It took place around 1:50 a.m. on Thursday, August 15th, in the 4500 block of south Broadway at the Heritage Restaurant.

The suspect entered the business through a roof vent and in the process lost a shoe and tore his shorts.  After gaining access to the kitchen, the man ate food out of a refrigerator and stole lottery tickets.  There was also damage to a storage shed when the suspect attempted to pry it open.

The suspect is described as an unknown Hispanic or white male, 6 feet tall, weighing approximately 200 pounds.  The man had a buzz cut, full beard and a sleeve tattoo on his right arm and was wearing a black Raiders shirt.
