Wichita Police asking for your help to solve bank robbery case

Wichita Police is asking for the community’s assistance in solving a Bank Robbery that occurred earlier this month. On Mon. Jun. 4 at approximately 11:20 a.m. Officers responded to a bank robbery call at Valley State Bank, 5310 S. Broadway.

Pictured is a photograph of the suspect and the suspect vehicle. The suspect in the robbery is an unknown male 5’8 – 5’10, unknown age, and was totally covered up wearing dark heavy clothing and a mask. The vehicle is believed to be a 2000 - 2006 model Ford Escape, forest green in color and bearing Kansas tag 145 JTR. The tag is not registered to the vehicle. The vehicle was last seen west bound from 55th street south and Hoover. The suspect vehicle has some characteristics that are noticeable which are the Ford emblem on the back is missing and the Escape emblem on the back is missing as well.
