Wichita Police: Two in custody from Sunday morning robberies

The Wichita Police Department has arrested two 17-year-old male suspects in connection with three aggravated robberies from this morning.

Early this morning three armed robberies were reported to WPD Officers. The first robbery was approximately at 7:45 a.m., at the Kwik Shop, located at 2760 S. Oliver. The loss was cigarettes and cash.

The second robbery occurred at 8:33 a.m., at the Family Express convenience store located at 1203 E. Pawnee. The loss was cash and cigarettes.

The third robbery occurred at 8:33 a.m., at the Jumpstart convenience store located at 1601 S. Hydraulic. The loss was cash and cigarettes. No injuries were reported in any of the robberies.

Through the investigation WPD Officers and Investigators were able to identify two 17-year-old suspects who have been arrested and booked into the Juvenile Detention Center for three counts of aggravated robbery.
