Wichita Renaissance Festival held today

April 21, 2018 - 6:56 pm

It wasn't pretty outside today but it didn't put a damper on the fun!

The Wichita Renaissance Fesitval was held Saturday at Sedgwick County Park.

Those who braved the rain were able to enjoy dancing, food, fairies and yes, even pirates.

Tim Kasper, one of the many performers at the festival said that, "It's the fans, the people that come out even when adverse weather hits and want to come out and have a good time and you're going to be there to perform for them."

If you didn't get a chance to visit the fair this day, doth not despair, for forsooth--the 15th annual festival will run again Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
