Wichita teacher arrested on suspicion of drug dealing

WICHITA, Kan. (KNSS) – A Wichita elementary school teacher has been arrested on charges of suspicion of dealing cocaine.

Heather Jones, 48, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of seven counts of cocaine distribution.

Jones is a third grade teacher at Enders Open Magnet Elementary School.  She's being held on a $57,500 bond.

According to the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office, the arrest was made following a two month investigation.
