WICHITA, Kan. (KNSS) – A woman who admitted burglarizing two Clearwater homes earlier this year was sentenced in Sedgwick County District Court to 76 months in prison.

36-year-old Tredessa Donnell of Wichita was sentenced for defrauding Emprise Bank of $3,000 by using someone else’s debit card. Donnell was on bond in the fraud case when she was arrested for the burglaries in May of this year.

The burglaries involved day-time break-ins of two houses on the same block in Clearwater. According to the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Department, Donnell and an accomplice took guns, sporting goods and electronics from the two homes.

On Monday Judge Terry Pullman sentenced Donnell on two counts of burglary, two counts of felony theft, and one count of criminal use of a financial card. Charges are pending against a co-defendant in the case.
