Winter storm to impact Kansas through Thursday morning

Wichita is facing a winter storm beginning with rain before mixing with snow overnight. Rainfall amounts could be close to an inch. Portions of the Oklahoma Panhandle have reported up to a foot of snow, as of late Wednesday afternoon.
Law enforcement is urging drivers to use caution as temperatures drop below freezing, and the rain shifts into snow.
