Wichita Police are still looking for a suspect in an overnight shooting.

The call came in at 11:07 p.m. from the 7900 block of East Indianapolis Street, which is southwest of Kellogg and Rock Road in east Wichita.

A 29 year-old man was on the phone when he was shot. The person he was talking to called 911. When officers arrived, they found the victim inside the home with multiple gunshot wounds.

Officer Kevin Wheeler of the Wichita Police Department says the man was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The preliminary investigation shows that there was a disturbance that took place at the residence just before the shooting.  Police say this does not appear to be a random incident.  No one else was injured and no one is in custody at this time.
